Can't

Before I start talking about today's topic, " can't" . 

 Let's take a look at the Watami beef rice. It's super delicious and student meal only cost SGD 4.90, can't believe that it's so affordable and it taste like the pepper rice that I'm absolutely in love with! It's more than enough for me to finish and their menus are pretty interesting, will try more of their food from there the next time! 

Anyway, I was thinking a lot recently about lots of stuff going in my life right now. Especially now that I'm turning 18, throughout my teens year it's normal to hear the " can't " word. Like : " you can't do it" , " you can't achieve that" & there's always someone in your life telling you off saying you can't you can't and you can't for whatever stuff concerning. 

Personally, I think there's nothing in the world you can't do with the given circumstances unless you decided to give up and not do it. 

I really dislike negative sources of energy, telling me that I can't do it instead of spreading this negativity I hope people actually starts spreading positive energy and change the " can't" to "can" it really does make a big difference and impact on people's life. 

I really wish that everyone can follow their dream and cast out all the "can't" in their life and starts living the life according to their own set of rules instead of listening to others criticism.

Thoughts about love

So I attended my cousin's wedding ceremony last week, it's been awhile since I last attended. I think the last time was when I'm like 9 years old? I was pretty naive about stuff like relationship and love but now I guess I'm a little last naive since I'm turning 18 soon. Wore this floral concept for the ceremony cause love is just like flower that blossom as time goes. 

I used to start out thinking that love can last forever and everything will just be happy and sweet throughout relationship. There's no such thing as "ending" during my younger years of dating. 

But after a few fail relationships, I began to change my perspectives. For a period of time, I am so scare of trusting people and falling in love with another person cause in my mind I am like " love can't last" , " it's just a matters of time" . 

However, after attending the wedding ceremony and seeing their wedding photos and how far my cousin have come through the relationship. It actually make me have the sudden feel that love can actually last with effort put in and there are obviously ups and downs in relationship, the couple just have to work hard enough to keep it together. 

Trusting my other half is no longer so hard, in love there's no certainty that's why I should have just fall in love and not be afraid to get hurt cause life is too short for regrets. 

In total, I'm just so glad I decided to attend the wedding ceremony and it absolutely make me learn something important which will be beneficial to my relationship. Everyone might have different view about love/ relationship but mine is as such (:

Thoughts on Halloween

Orange color for Halloween, Halloween is coming up soon and I don't usually celebrate it but I know that this day exist and well after living on this planet for like 17 almost 18 years. I have finally decided to celebrate Halloween, it's actually such a cute and exciting day where I can get to dress up and slice pumpkin and give out weird candies. 

But I'm living in Singapore which Halloween isn't such a popular thing around here but we do celebrate other festive seasons too! The only Halloween major events will be the Halloween Horror Night at USS , Sentosa etc. I have never seen any kid knocking on doors to get candy so I'll most likely attend the Halloween Horror Nights 4 this year at USS this upcoming weekend if possible or next week! Pretty excited~ 

Thinking about costume or going there with casual outfit but costume does sounds like a more interesting choice! So with that idea in mind, I actually went online to shop for costume but I ended up buying other clothing instead of that. 

This is exactly what happen when I'm using laptop, I tend to get distracted at what I'm doing and ended up shopping for stuff that I don't exactly need. Too much of an impulsive buyer. I think I need to research more about how to control impulsive buying and stuff like that, will share with you guys about my trip to USS Halloween Night if I'm going~ and about how to control spending!

School Girl & Slappy Cake

Sweater over a black dress, rainy day best choice! It has been raining quite hard lately, so it can get pretty cold for awhile then it'll get quite humid after the rain so I chose this outfit cause it can provide the warmth I needed during the rain and if I feel a little bit hot afterwards I can take out the sweater and it'll just be a simple black dress. 

Super love how the sweater isn't made out of super thick material so I won't sweat under it, sweating when wearing any outfit will be the last thing on my list

Selecting some sauces from the farmer's market at my favorite place, this place sell lots of organic items which is super healthy! 

Went to Slappy Pancake the other day with my friend, to try the pancake and their breakfast set! I was really hungry so I chose the all day breakfast set at like 4pm ? But their portion is very huge and I can't finish it at all. The above is their lemonade drinks, it comes in various flavors : Lavender lemonade and Slappy Lemonade! Super adorable flavors and I absolutely love it~ 

That's their classic breakfast set, it comes with bacons, scramble eggs, toasted bread and lots of potatoes. I feel like it's like 3 person portion? I took like 30 minutes and I still haven't even finish half of it. But it's so yummy, I love how they bake the potatoes! Super refreshing taste (: definitely a place to visit!!

Whispering Rubbish

That's like my outfit few days back, just a simple over-sized Denim Dress actually I wanted it to fit nicely but I kind of ordered the wrong size so this Over-Sized concept developed in my mind. I am actually a XS but I accidentally clicked L ?! That's why it's like so big and such but well it's airy and I kind of like it so guess it's a YAY~ 

Anyway, today topic is about blogging. I mainly blog about stuff like Fashion, Food etc. But I feel like blogging should not just be restricted to this few topics cause sometimes my brain is quite dead and I can't think of what to post, especially when days I am too lazy to take an #ootd post. Taking #ootd post is actually quite hard, trying to think of new pose (which usually I can't) other than smiling awkwardly at the camera. 

But well, I like blogging cause it's like writing down my thoughts and well sharing my awkward style and food adventure. But there are days, I just want to post about random stuff like: " I got a pimple on my forehead" or " my IPhone screen is being a bitxh to me" , I was kidding about the pimple part. But it's just weird if I post about such stuff. 

Since I am talking about random post, here is one. My IPhone is like dead, the phone look perfectly fine from afar but the screen just doesn't move so I cannot use it! I cannot imagine spending another $350 to fix the phone again. It's like I fixed my IPhone more than 4 times already, careless will definitely be my middle name if I actually have a middle name. 

So I very much prefer using my laptop as compared to my phone now, at least it doesn't lag. Anyway, recently there's this movie called " Annabelle" have anyone actually watch it? I might be planning to watch it tonight, hopefully it won't scare the life out of me. Thank you so much for bearing with me till the last part, here's some cute flowers for you~~~

Found this hidden cafe at Outram Park, it's located near The Stranger Reunion cafe (just about 2-3 minutes walk straight up). Actually planned to go Stranger's Reunion but the queue was just too long. This cafe offers complimentary bread for their customer, which also meant free of charge bread which taste so delicious that we actually wanted to just eat the bread and not order anything else. But we did ordered something cause it's just awkward not to, we tried the Truffle Fries. 

Price: SGD 9 

The fries is delicious and it take about 3 person to finish this basket, it's like brunch and just so filling. I just can't resist things like fries, it's too tempting that I forget about my diet and everything. This cafe also don't charge their customer service charges, which is absolutely hard to find now.

Decided to try out my new bow from H&M with my outfit, love the bow so much I'm almost wearing it everyday! Grey crop top with a black maxi skirt to go for a simple errand running day! For me I think this Fall season needs more colors to brighten up everything that's the reason I chose the floral skirt with multiple colors. The bandage skirt is like the best to go out with, won't hitch up and won't fly like crazy when there are big wind.

Charlie Brown Café

Charlie Brown Café, I went to the one located at cineleisure. I went there with my bestfriend during the lunch hour and there's this special promotion: 

SGD 8.80 for student, it's like a set meal consist of a main dish, soup and drink. If you pay an additional $4, there will be having a pancake or crepes to chose from! 

Really love the Charlie Brown Café design, super adorable and cute! Cooling environment and the services are really good(: . We ordered the spaghetti bolognese & fish and chips. Their portion is just nice for one person and it taste good!! 

We also ordered the pancake, the strawberry flavor one! Super savour and I love the prints on the pancake, perfect decoration and good to snap photo! 

I think this is like the perfect café to visit to spend lots of time there to chit chat since it's not very crowded or noisy. (: have you guys try this café before ?

What? Weird Beauty Tools?

There are many different types of beauty tools all around the world which I discovered while I was googling the other day and found lots of "rare" which can also be known as " weird" beauty tools. 

This is a set of clips for nose to help the nose to seems smaller and allows the user to have higher nose bridge, kind of like creating the 3D effects. It was suppose to be clip on daily for about 20 minutes. But I totally cannot imagine clipping something on my nose, it's like how am I suppose to breath during the 20 minutes? And I find that these pairs of nose clips look like the clips my mom use to hang clothes with. 

V-Shape face roller, it'll suppose to help make the face smaller and appear like "V".  Personally, I think even if this roller doesn't work it's worth it cause it's just like massaging the face for fun but it's just a bit weird that a roller is suppose to make the face smaller? It kind of just doesn't make sense to me. 

I save this for the last cause it's the weirdest, this is like a headband for the whole head in which the person are suppose to sleep with it. Even without trying it, I am sure it'll be uncomfortable. It's like how can anyone sleep with such a tight band around the face, it just doesn't make sense to me even if the whole purpose is to look good. 

In total, I am not saying that all this beauty tools are not useful but I just find it a bit weird but maybe it's useful? I don't know about it cause I have never try this before but it's really amazing to know there are lots of weird tools around the world just to serve the beauty purposes. Guess people will literally go for any extent to look good. 

Daisy and Cafés

Daisy skirt in pale blue color just never gets old, skirt is probably the easiest kind of clothing to goes with any outfit and it just won't go wrong. Decided to wear this outfit to go cafe hopping with my friends around Tiong Bahru. We went to a few cafés and that area is just perfect to take photos! 

P.S Cafe, I finally found it! I remember I went to Dempsey Hill trying to find this Cafe but ended up at Dome Cafe instead. P.S Cafe have a lovely atmosphere but the aircon was pretty cold, all the cakes look so yummy in there and they also have wide range of tea selection! 

It's the best place to just get a cup of tea and sit down there with friends to chit chat and catch up! 

Their cakes costs around $8-$15 , theor tea $5.50-$7. 

Flock Cafe: 

This cafe is perfect for breakfast and brunch, we went there for breakfast! Their food are cheaper than P.S Cafe, the scramble eggs: $7.50 and pasta costs around $14.90. Their pasta portion looks big and I think it'll be perfect for lunch!! Too bad we reached there too early. 

I love their scramble egg! It's like so tasty even after finishing the whole thing including the bread, I still want more of it. There's another cafe that we wanted to visit but it was close on that day ): . 

I'll probably go back tiong bahru for more cafés hunting and try out their food! 

Thoughts on food

Food - Something that keeps me happy, an essential. 

I always have a hard time understanding why I am only allow to eat 3 meals a day: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. Whenever I go out, I'll be the one that ask " what are we gonna have for the next meal" even though I just ate something. I think eating is more than just keeping the body functional, it's something that makes me happy. Who cares about the extra calories of the ice cream, chocolate pie, waffles with cream? As long as it makes me happy, I'm gonna eat them. 

So I'm more than happy when I tried out Kraze Burger in Marina Bay Sands (MBS). But I didn't exactly eat the burger there, I ate their spaghetti and it's delicious.

Actually I wanted to order the kids meal cause it's so adorable, the kids meal comes in 3 different design and it's only $10. But I didn't get the chance to order it but the next time I go, I'll absolutely order the kid meal!

Bye Summer, Hello Fall

Summer is finally coming to an end, autumn is here. That's the first fall outfit, pairing the checkered top and high waisted jeans, the checkered top is so comfortable and I think it's the best outerwear to go with everything. 

I'm wearing the grey crop top I bought online cause it's really cute, grey is such a neutral color to go with everything.

Took this photo at Danga Bay Johor Bahru, the sunset is really pretty! Danga Bay have a few nice restaurent, fun fair, beach and I think it's a really nice place to take photo! I just went there at a wrong timing that's why it isn't the best timing to take #ootd photo.
