Mooncake Festival

Hey~ I'll be blogging about how I celebrated my mooncake festival ❤️ . During this few days, I celebrated with my parent and boyfriend. On the weekend, my family and I had a mini gathering over at my aunt's house to eat mooncake + drinking tea and we had so much fun talking. Then on the Sunday, I meet up with my boyfriend to have a lovely feast.

We had the JPot over at VivoCity for dinner, it's a hotpot and quite a popular food for this kind of festival. We ordered the set menu - $68 for 2 persons , enough for us to feel full!

Then we head over to the Garden By The Bay to view the free festival decorations and show, when we arrived it was packed with people but we managed to find places with lesser people. We also bought the ice cream (mango)

This ice cream tasted like mango juice (I guess it probably is) but it's really good.

Then we decided to play with the lantern we bought, had such a hard time lighting the lantern and making it work but when we finally done it, it was so much fun 😂

Then we decided to take some selfie with the lantern with the selfie stick and that's when the disaster happened, my phone fell out of the selfie stick and it landed in shattered (</3) , I was quite sad because I kind of just broke my phone 2/3 months back so I am thinking of changing my phone to iPhone 6s since my iPhone 6 is spoilt now.

In total, it was a very fun and lovely day spent! ❤️ another great day to add into my memories box. Thank you for reading, hope you have a lovely mooncake festival too.

Hazy Week

The whole week has been so hazy and I have been feeling so unwell, getting all the red eyes and stuffy nose from the bad weather. 💔 it's especially more torturous because I am a contact lens user so it's especially irritating. So this whole week I have been trying to stay indoor~

So I went to the library over at Orchard Gateaway to lend some books (I am a sucker for reading books) it's just feel so good to be immerse in the world of book. Then we went over to Genki Sushi to grab some yummy salmon sashimi ❤️❤️❤️

Recently we are both into cooking so much due to the Korean Cooking Show " Open my fridge" so this week we cooked 2 different types of food, the first one on the menu is the chicken breast with baked potatoes. It's super simple to cook + it's so healthy.

Ingredients:
Chicken Breast
Salt
Baked Potatoes

Next food that we tried to cook : Steak & Seafood Aglio Olio. I cook the steak, it's the famous chef recipe that only take 5 minutes to be ready and the ingredients required: Pepper, Salt and a little butter.

The seafood Aglio olio was made by him & I gotta admit it taste really good and he can be such a good chef.

I also went to the High Rock Café with my family during the week, we ordered 4 main course : Chili Crab Dips, Jumbo Set, Pork Ribs and Burgers! ❤️❤️❤️ ultra love for fries.

Lastly, I am busy with finishing up all my story books since school hours is pretty short this week so I have plenty of time to read up and do other stuff. I am also quite busy with photos to meet the deadlines of the advertorials and stuff, I also kind of found my new favorite make up line!

Thank you for reading ❤️ will come back with some outfit posts soon!

IKEA Visit

Went to IKEA 2 times in this short week, one time with my parent and another time with my friend & boyfriend. It is always so much fun to visit IKEA to see all the furnitures & get ideas to re-decorate my room which is never going to happen due to my funds which goes all to my clothing + food. The second best thing about IKEA will be their food, their food is so ultra cheap and delicious.

Ate the salmon set & chicken wings on the first day of my visit while sipping on some nice ice lemon tea that cost only $1.00 and its refillable (Y) . Then I walked around the whole IKEA, and I was so inspired to transform my room to the white color concept with white blanket, white curtain and everything white.

And the second trip to IKEA was yesterday, I went over there after my class with one of my friend who went to crash my class ❤️ it's so fun to have her around in class! It's always exciting to crash another person class or bring another person to crash the class ~

Then we went over to IKEA for lunch, had the meatball spaghetti $7.90. I think their price for this dish actually increases from few years back? It's literally like satisfying both cravings (meatball & spaghetti) sadly this dish doesn't come with the special meatball sauce if not it'll be heavenly.

Thank you for reading ❤️❤️❤️

Traveling Lists

School has been taking a toll on me lately , waking up at 620am to prepare for school and stuff while juggling with my weekly gym routine and maintaining my social life. How I wish it's holiday all over again~ so I decided to make a wish list of countries that I want to visit and go.

First country on my list:

Korea! ❤️ maybe it's because my boyfriend is Korean that's why I am quite interested to visit the country, do sightseeing , try out the local delights and buy some stuff from there and it looks like a pretty country to take nice #ootd photos!

If I am ever visiting Korea (which is soon) , I'll probably stay for about 2-3 weeks so that I can explore every inch of Korea.

2nd on my list: England

Definitely gonna visit England if I have the chance since I am most likely going there to further studies for Master in 2-3 years time so I'll want to try out their local cafés and take nice photos with all the scenery.

And have English Breakfast Tea everyday ❤️

3rd country: Greece

I saw so many photos regarding Greece on Instagram! It's so stunning and literally looks like something that come out from the movie scene, it seems like a nice place to chill and relax over a long holiday.

On the sidenote: this is the classic pancake and the sweet potato pancake that we tried over at the D'Good Café! The pancake taste rather good but the café take such a long time to prepare it (30 minutes) and the services offered is so-so , some of the staff were quite rude when it comes to answering question while some are really nice.

So I have rather mix feelings about the café and food over there.

Thank you for reading! ❤️ Be ready to read my next few posts regarding a few collaborations with certain brands , so stay tuned!

Orchid Garden

The new Instagram update is amazing ❤️ I took quite awhile to get used to it and if you're my friends you'll even hear me complaining about how Instagram looks funny now since everyone can have different sizes photos but now I am absolutely loving it. Went to the botanic garden on the public holiday to see the flowers and take some photos despite the heavy haze.

It's a bit hot but we managed to explore every inch of this orchids garden before heading off for movie. The orchids garden is free of charge for students ❤️ , there are 9 sections in the garden and the place even have a coolhouse which is similar to the garden by the bay flower dome but way smaller.

Had so much fun taking couple photos together and play around with the self timer on my phone! Need a tripod to make my camera stand so that we can take better photos~

Then we went over to the Great World City, to watch the scorch trails (maze runner) but the timing was a bit off so we took cab to The Cathay to watch movie there! The movie is so good since my favorite actor & actress is inside ❤️

Overall, it was a well spent Friday ❤️ tend to take the the precious time of Friday , Saturday and Sunday for granted but now with school around this 3 days will be my most important rest days.

500th day celebration ❤️

We just celebrated our 500th days together ❤️ we don't celebrate monthsary and counts by days instead as he's Korean and that's kind of their culture ? Our 500th day celebration was sweet and simple, the celebration also fall on our first day of school which we had morning class (ultra tiring) I woke up at 6am to prepare for school.

After school , we went to do ice skating over at Jurong East (Jcube) it costs about $17.50 / person which is super worth the price. We skate for about 1 hour ++ then decided to leave, I fell down 1 time and I find that it's a miracle but the falling down process is so painful 💔

I took awhile to get used to ice skating so luckily my babe waited patiently for me while I am getting used to it. It's funny how he can skate so well and so fast, guess guys are always better in sports.

Next, we went to watch a movie known as " The Uncle" . It's like the best movie ever, with hot guys and girls inside and the storyline is so interesting. I was like feeling so excited throughout the movie ❤️❤️❤️

Then we went to have dinner over at Jem area, we ordered the steak set with Hawaii Pizza. I can't choose which one I like more but I know I love the cheese and fries, it's so fattening but it's my guilty pleasure.

Then we went to drink before we call it a day, I drank the red wine while he drank the draft beer. It was super refreshing to drink again after so long~ this seems like we are celebrating the start of the school.

Thank you for reading ❤️ in total, it's a wonderful 500th day celebration.
