STYLIGHT

Are there times when you’re troubled about what to wear, how to wear something and where to get certain brands and products? Well, you have stumbled upon the right page! Let me introduce you to STYLIGHT; the website that will solve all your problems. The purpose of the website is to provide a platform to inspire people to discover fashion everyday and to allow their users to access a variety of different products from their site with just one click.

I must say I am very impressed by the website design.  I am first greeted by a very clear website where everything is clearly classified and not jumbled up. The background is white in colour which is totally my favorite as it makes the site look very neat. The different categories “Home”
“Looks” ,“Women” and Men” are just one click away. The trending looks and the “Join” button can be easily detected which is a huge plus point!

After browsing through the site, it’s really effective in doing its purposes. When I first click on STYLIGHT, it clearly shows the “Trending Look” of the day. Thousands of members upload their new looks everyday as an inspiration for others. This is something that I especially like as my profile becomes the page which shows the looks and products that I love which makes it very personal. Better still, it’s completely free to join!

In addition to this, there are millions of brands and products available to be discovered. These can be bought easily from the website which saves me the trouble of scouring the web! There are also tools to help you search for products, for example via community hearts or by browsing through popular looks, products, brands and members. STYLIGHT
consists of all the most popular brands and products which can be conveniently purchased via the shops feature on the website.

Personally, I am very lazy when it comes to online shopping! I hate it when I have to scroll through pages and pages just to get what I want so with this it really solved the problem as the product can be easily found through the search box.

Another thing I like about STYLIGHT is that they also have an app which can be downloaded onto your iPhone making the site even more accessible. There are notification updates and you can easily view your favourite outfits on the “Looks” section.  You can easily join STYLIGHT with the “Connect with Facebook” choice, which reduces the hassle of filling out long registration form.

On the whole, STYLIGHT is very effective as it accomplishes the reason for visiting their website and is easily accessible. I was very glad when STYLIGHT approached me to review their website; it’s always a good thing to share about a wonderful fashion site with my followers and bloggers in order to get more fashion inspiration.

Experience with self tanner

As promised , it's a post about my first ever experience with self tanner. I am very pale for Asian and after working out for about a few months now, I kind of want to get tanned to look fitter. So I look all over Singapore, to find a self tanner and I ended up with Sephora body mist self tanner spray.

It comes in a small orange golden tone bottle with a cap on top, the tanner only comes in a color which they didn't state specifically but I think it's kind of golden brown tone. I actually read lots of review about the product before I actually bought it, you can read up all the reviews at http://sephora.com . For me, I find it safer to read about other people experience before using any product. So it turned out that there's lots of good review about the product and I am thinking " why not ? I should just give it a go"

I purchased the spray mist at the price of $24 , it's worth the price. I spray the mist only at area where people can see my skin which is the body part like my leg, arm, neck and the back cause I wear tank top almost all the time.

I applied the mist by myself in my room, it's quite easy and when you spray the mist you can actually see the brown color which means you won't miss a spot as it can be seen at which area you sprayed before. After spraying on my body, I will use my hand and rub at the area to get it to spread and dry faster which made me ended up with " Orange Hand" but luckily the smell of the spray mist is tolerable, I read a lot of other reviews which mentioned that self tanner has that awful smell but mine didn't , mine smelled like coconut and I love coconut so it isn't a big problem for me.

I leave the self tanner on for about 30 minutes before wearing back the sleeping clothes and about 8hours or 9 hours later then I had a shower, the tanned color gradually build up. When I exercise and shower, the color still stayed there, it didn't fade off or become lighter yet which is a good thing.

It's my second day with the tanned and it haven't fade away, I think it'll last probably about 3-4 days. It's a distinct change from my original skin tone, like 2 or 3 shades darker which is great. My friend told me now I look healthier and they didn't even noticed it's a fake tanned until I told them about it.

You can see the distinct differences between my real skin tone which is the stripe area that I missed and the self tanner color.

I definitely love the healthier glow and the tanned skin tone that I am having now.

I am looking for new brand of self-tanner for future use, it's always fun to trail and error with different brand and types of self tanner.

Do you guys self tanned ? (: Do tell me about your favorite self tanner and your experience with self tanning!

xoxo
