Silver Lightning Thief

Top: Dig it out from my closet, it's like my 12 years old clothes.
Skirt: It's an ancient piece of long skirt that I DIY into:
Boots: Have been wearing it since forever
I never really thought I'll be into DIY and doing makeover on old clothes but I did it anyway and I love the result! Anyway I am really into old clothing during the past few days. I was back in my holiday cottage to stay and I ran out of clothing so I decided to put on pieces from my old clothes to see what I can create. So I'm down with this silver lightening clothes, I don't usually wear bling bling but I think bling bling clothing can be quite attractive at times, I love how it's quite catchy and it contrasts with the black skirt so I guess it's an ancient make over.

One of my favorite thing about the whole outfit will be the skirt itself cause the design is irregular and when I DIY it I didn't expect it to be like that but I like it better like that cause it's much more unique and attractive!

So I guess I just might be doing more DIY or even making the outfit pieces by myself soon! Anyway what do you guys think about the outfit ?

Kimono Cardigan - Zara

Cardigan : Zara (Kimono)
Top: Cotton On (Tank Top)
Shorts : StarGazingWithYou (Daisy)
Shoe : Boots

So today I'm wearing the kimono that I bought a week ago, I really love the design when I saw it I'm like why is it so delicate and pretty. It's super Japanese culture like which I really enjoyed, it's like one of a kind especially I don't see much clothing have unique design at the back as usually it's more focus on the front design where it's more visible.

Though it look a little like sleepwear but the material is super comfortable and it can really passed as a sleepwear kind of kimono. If you actually get kimono, you'll really stand out from the crowd!

Also the boots I bought overseas finally arrived after 2-3 weeks of waiting, it's super comfy due to the soft fur inside and it fit me perfectly and I realized the most important thing when purchasing stuff online will be knowing your exact fit if not imagine when the items arrived and it don't fit!

Recently I watch a video about not expressing your true emotions, it really got into me like I feel exactly the same as what's showed on the video, like I just can't express my true feelings well scaring about the what if and not really doing it which resulted in missed opportunities. But who dares to put their feelings out on the front line not knowing whether it will end in disastrous or happiness. Maybe I should express my true feelings more, how about you guys? (:

A little about Kimono

For a little while now, I have been reading and watching about the rising kimono trend. It's really fascinating and personally I find it really pretty and dedicate, all their different design is so alluring and attractive. It really represent the Japanese culture!

This is the Zara inspired kimono, the front design actually make me go crazy! It's like so one of a kind, combination of Japanese culture and modern trend! I'm thinking of getting this and hopefully can get it at a good deal!

This is another type of kimono, it's more of the modern trend type of design. It's really pale and it absolutely fit in the pastel and pale kind of category. It goes on well with any type of outfit and it's best for out wear.

This remind me of the bohemian like kind of kimono, it's a mixture of design which can get a little too cluster but overall it's really wonderful and pretty. Each of the kimono have their own different feel and create different looks with it!

This is a bit of a Chinese + Japanese kind of creation cause in olden days Chinese love the color yellow it kind of symbolize dragon, gold and good wealth! And the floral design prints have the Japanese feel, this combination absolutely look super pretty and stunning! Sadly I can't find it anywhere around my area..

Lastly, what do you think about the kimono trend ? Have you try it yourself ? (:
