2014, a fresh start.

Happy 2014 guys! Hope you guys have a lovely and enjoyable ones(: I spend my last day of 2013 with my friends around town, the atmosphere is really good and honestly speaking I can't believe it's 2014 already which means I'm starting school soon. 

I already shop for the starting of the new year already, to prepare for 2014 and my school term. I bought like 5 stuff, 4 of them online and 1 of them while I was shopping yesterday. -spendthrift alert- 

1) Kimono Outerwear 

Since I already talked about kimono a few days back I shall not go into detail! I ordered it on impulse last Friday, it's really just like I'm scrolling through a shopping website and I saw this kimono I just got the feel to get it and I ended up getting it cause it's so pretty! I can't wait for it to arrive :D 

2) Floral Croptop 

My new year resolution is to wear lesser crop top and try more long sleeves shirt but I guess I can just put the resolution aside cause this top is so adorable! I really love pieces when it's so simple yet lovely to look it. It's another of my online goodies! 

3) BabyDoll Dress 

I always wanted to get a Babydoll dress cause it's just so pretty and I'm so happy that I stumbled upon this website to get this dress, it's just so adorable and can absolutely pair with anything! Yippie, just hope the delivery won't take long! 

4) Vintage Boots 

Yay! Boots for real this time, I adore the vintage style and fashion so much. When I saw this boots online I'm like, I'm going to get it for real. I preferred online shopping for shoes rather than real life cause it's just so weird trying on shoe in public but yay another cons of buying shoes online will be when it don't fit my feet!! Hopefully it won't turn out to be disastrous. 

5) Cotton Light Blue Pullover 

The material is ultra comfortable and I think it'll keep me warm during my cold lectures which is gonna start soon, really adorable this pullover so much. Recently, I also find myself drawn to pullover for no specific reasons.

A little about Kimono

For a little while now, I have been reading and watching about the rising kimono trend. It's really fascinating and personally I find it really pretty and dedicate, all their different design is so alluring and attractive. It really represent the Japanese culture! 

This is the Zara inspired kimono, the front design actually make me go crazy! It's like so one of a kind, combination of Japanese culture and modern trend! I'm thinking of getting this and hopefully can get it at a good deal! 

This is another type of kimono, it's more of the modern trend type of design. It's really pale and it absolutely fit in the pastel and pale kind of category. It goes on well with any type of outfit and it's best for out wear. 

This remind me of the bohemian like kind of kimono, it's a mixture of design which can get a little too cluster but overall it's really wonderful and pretty. Each of the kimono have their own different feel and create different looks with it! 

This is a bit of a Chinese + Japanese kind of creation cause in olden days Chinese love the color yellow it kind of symbolize dragon, gold and good wealth! And the floral design prints have the Japanese feel, this combination absolutely look super pretty and stunning! Sadly I can't find it anywhere around my area..

Finally, Christmas is coming to town!

Santa Claus is coming to town! It's Christmas already, I woke up feeling super excited and happy! It's Christmas already after few days of non-stop celebration, it's finally here! I'm spending Christmas at the ThemePark with my best-friend, the atmosphere is really good  and there are so many people.

On the 22nd we hosted a potluck at my house, it was really fun we had s'more which is super yummy and till now I can't get enough of it! It's really nice to get together after so long, that's why I love Christmas so much cause it's a season that brings everyone back together! Catching up with old times and happy moments passed by so fast without a notice. 

Other than that, I spend the Christmas Eve treating my family to dinner at 49 seats! It's a really lovely place with delicious food, the Christmas menu is really nice and I'm so glad I can spend those lovely moment with my precious ones. 

All the Christmas present I received this year (: , super grateful about all this gifts and those thoughts behind the gifts! I can't wait to open all this present on Boxing Day!

Mini Christmas Celebration

Few days ago, I meet up with some of my friends to have a mini Christmas celebration together! It was nice seeing them, having dinner together and chit-chatting. We also did Christmas exchange, the atmosphere was really good! It took me awhile to decide what to wear for the Christmas celebration, I was contemplating about wearing red or green and I ended up with green. 

I kind of look like an elf after looking at those photos for a few times, it's like I'm trying to hide my elf ears using the beanie. Ohh and it's my first time ever wearing a beanie, what do you guys think? Personally I think I look a little bit odd, I need time to grow accustomed to my face with beanie! 

I really like the top cause the green color is just the perfect shade of green, it isn't too dark nor too bright. Sometimes bright color green kind of turns me off cause it's like wearing flashing light on my body, this is like the subtle and forest shade of green! Though I don't usually wear this color at all but I think it'll do for this celebration. 

I just love Christmas celebration so much, it's like catching up with people and I'm so glad I'm able to spend such lovely celebration with all my friends & family. Today I'll be going on another Christmas potluck / BBQ at my house, totally looking forward to it! Will update about the potluck for my next blogpost, stay tuned!

DIY Christmas Card

Since Christmas is nearing, I decided to prepare early and make Christmas cards for my friends and family! Above is the end results of some of the cards I made, it's fairly simple and it only takes up maximum 5 minute for every card. It's super economical too if you have cute pattern paper and stickers laying around in the house. 

Material : Pattered / Color Paper 

             : Stickers 

             : Pen 

             : Scissors 

             : Glue / Tape 

1) Firstly, gathered all the stickers you have laying around in the house. Pop- up stickers, floral stickers or just any normal stickers. 

2) Next, cut out the big piece of paper into half by folding them to get the line first and cut them into half with 2 sides so you can write the Christmas message inside. 

3) Thirdly, get another paper of different color and design to cut the shape you want! For Christmas, I cut a Christmas tree shape and some snowman! In order to get this shape, draw the outline on the page where you are going to paste it down! 

4) Lastly, paste the Christmas tree design on the paper card you selected and there you go! You have your personalize Christmas card, you can now add stickers and write message inside the card! It'll be perfect for Christmas and the person getting it will feel honored to get a personalized card.

Pattern Dress

Remember when I promoted about the everbuying hauls over my blogpost ? My item finally arrived, I was so excited when I open the parcel to discovered this piece of dress! I am absolutely awed by the detailed pattern of the dress and the color all put together just look super elegant and I can't believe I gotten it at such a great deal. 

The pattern seem to remind me of a little Indian style fashion and a little bit of bohemian, it's just so amazing that the little prints make such a big difference to the whole dress. 

Its super comfortable to wear due to the soft material and furthermore it come with a belt of a sort, so it allowed me to adjust to the length that I think suit me best. I don't feel restrictive when I wear it and overall it's just a very good feeling when I wore it. 

Took this photo while I was at a DIY pancake restaurant with my friend, the place is really lovely and we can choose to either make our own DIY pancake or they make it for us. I choose the latter cause I'm such a lousy chef that I am afraid whatever I made aren't edible!
