Get your hands dirty

Like I promised, I'm back with an outfit post! The weather was super hot recently so I lean more towards long sleeves shirt and jeans to prevent sun exposure. But yesterday there's a need for denim shorts so I'm leave with no choice, I really dislike wearing shorts for super sunny weather cause it'll result in uneven tanned. 

Like 3/4 of my body will be tanned but the 1/4 will look awkward and out of place. 

I pair this outfit with another apparels the other day, the skirt. It created an entirely different look which makes matching apparels an important aspect to look into! I think this white top will be the best apparel that I ever invested in cause it can be easily match with other clothing. 

Found one of this cute little things while I was shopping, it's like fluffy soft toy that I can make by myself! Part of DIY, which is related to my title " Get my hands dirty" . I'll be trying to make this cause it's just so adorable and I can chose the design I want to make. 

I'll either be googling on how to do this or take up classes which cost SGD 20 per class. If I know how to do this, I'll make a "How to do" blogpost about this so you guys don't have to spend money to learn it! I'm aiming to do a little panda, cat or hamster during the DIY! Do stay tuned (:

My hair is in a different shade of colors again, I kind of wore like this to attend a carnival. I decided to go with the pastel colors based to match with my hair color, I think pastel colors are really soft, gentle and I like how it turns out on photo. Making it look really vintage like~ 

It's being ages since I last attended the carnival, I'm so awed by all the food and games station there. When my friends and I entered the carnival, we were greeted by the food smell and it just got like 100 times better and we went around spending our coupons on food/ drinks and mostly drinks. I think I drank like 5 cups of drinks there cause there are just so many varieties to chose from. 

With my favorite girl on earth, known her for 6 years already and she's one of the nicest, most caring person I ever know. I'm so grateful to know someone like her, totally miss her so much now that we are in different school but I'm still so grateful that we got to spend some time together during the carnival. I love you~

What to do during a lazy day? Pairing it up with a long tank dress and put on some heels you're ready to go! To celebrate the spring, I put on some sunnies to complete the look. It'll be my number 1 favorite lazy day out kind of look. I also discovered this really cute bohemian hat in my closet and I decided to put it on. 

Anyway, I'm currently on my one month holiday after the first term and it feels so good. Meeting my friends during my free time, exercising and getting to know myself better during alone time, basically I'm just so grateful for this holiday! Hopefully my next university term will not be stressful and everything will go smoothly. 

Anyway, it's been ages since I last skate! I totally miss skating with my penny board and I might actually pick up skating again during my holiday. Do any of you guys skate?

There's this topic that keep appearing in my mind like whenever you do something that's a little out of order according to society standard you get weird stares and unnesssary judgement. Like I mentioned recently, I dyed my hair a shade of purple, green, blonde and brown. So I pretty much get stare at whenever I'm out, they are some nice people that are actually staring cause they're amaze and they're some that just give you that disappointing look as if it's some kind of a crime. I know that I totally should have expected this kind of treatment when I decided to go for crazy hair color but I didn't expect such huge reaction. 

Like literally, it's my hair and I can do exactly what I want and I don't need people telling me what I can't and what's right or what's wrong about what I'm doing and hair color obviously don't define who I'm. It's like society set this invisible norms that everyone are suppose to follow once you venture out of the norms you're like the weird little freak. 

But I'm not going to let the invisible standard set me down, it's better to try out new exciting stuff that I actually enjoyed and want rather than live a boring life that I don't exactly enjoy cause I'm the one controlling the life and the rest of the world is just spectaculating it. Just like a football game, the spectator don't exactly control the game right ? (: 

 Anyway, I kind of dig out this suspender from my closet it's kind of being hidden for years in my closet so it's good to let it out and just wear it! I love that suspender can be pair with anything and still look good! What do you think about the outfit and the views that I have?

Thai Style? K-trend? Funky-look? Trendy Pieces? Check it out! What's more exciting than quirky vintage look? Putting together pieces that are really unique are really fun and interesting, all of this elegant pieces are from ModCloth. I chose a base to start off which is the dress, I must say it have interesting name I like the sound of Dakota it reminds me of vampire.

For starter, the yellow dress with floral prints absolutely bring us back to 1950s fashion where everyone did the retro dancing and have funky hair. (Great starter)

Then I decided the headpiece which is the floral headband- super trendy and popular now. Adding a hint of modern day vintage feel to the funky style to make it more elegant, who won't like a floral headband to feel like a princess now and then ?

The Accessories Part I went along with rose theme cause red, rose symbolizes love and gentleness to further enhance the floral feel to the dress like red and yellow warm tone matching it together. The earrings part, I want to try out something that's more Thai Style which is the elephant earrings super adorable and the silver color adding a little bit of boldness to it.

All of a sudden , while pairing everything up I got the feel for Alice in the wonderland and Red Riding Hood and I decided to put together the mushroom backpack and be like why not just give it a try ? It's kind of like the Korean fashion to carry backpack but this backpack absolutely look so cartoon and anime like which is pretty unique.

Lastly, the shoes part. Since there are already lots of colors in this whole piece of outfit, I decided to tone it down a little and go with white with a little tribal prints on it.

In conclusion, it looks really trendy and create this cute girl look and it'll definitely stand out from the crowd. This look is more towards the adventurous side matching all the prints and different design together, I love putting clothes together especially after it's done I felt so accomplish! ModCloth does create a very unique and elegant line of clothing, which I personally enjoys a lot.

Happy Belated Valentine's Day guys, how'd it went ? Hopefully it turned out perfect and wonderful for everyone. I did something crazy on feb 14 , stay tuned and continue reading. So I decided to put together this simple outfit for the day, it's supposed to be a lovey dovey day and I just bought the bunny blouse which is too adorable so I decided to try it on. 

Usually it isn't my style to wear something like this cause long sleeve just ain't my taste but well as usual I loved it after I try it on like it's so comfy! My valentine's day was well spent to wake up with lots of sweet wishes like everyone is so nice and sweet I just can't -friends, families and neighbor, the best part was the Mac Donald supper at night with my neighbor like it's just so nice to go out at night to have ice cream - chocolate cause it's valentine day and chit chat! 

Anyway, valentine's day is just like any other day but it's a great day to doll yourself up and give thanks to people you care about. It also give me great inspiration to do different style and try out new clothing that's what I love about fashion there isn't any limit. 

So feb 14th is the day where you expressed your feelings to everyone you treasure and care about so I decided to do something that I never dreamt I'll ever do in like a 100 years but I'm glad I done it anyway it's better to let it out than to keep on guessing. It's better to communicate what you feel rather than keeping it bottle or maybe I'm just a very direct kind of person?

2014, a fresh start.

Happy 2014 guys! Hope you guys have a lovely and enjoyable ones(: I spend my last day of 2013 with my friends around town, the atmosphere is really good and honestly speaking I can't believe it's 2014 already which means I'm starting school soon. 

I already shop for the starting of the new year already, to prepare for 2014 and my school term. I bought like 5 stuff, 4 of them online and 1 of them while I was shopping yesterday. -spendthrift alert- 

1) Kimono Outerwear 

Since I already talked about kimono a few days back I shall not go into detail! I ordered it on impulse last Friday, it's really just like I'm scrolling through a shopping website and I saw this kimono I just got the feel to get it and I ended up getting it cause it's so pretty! I can't wait for it to arrive :D 

2) Floral Croptop 

My new year resolution is to wear lesser crop top and try more long sleeves shirt but I guess I can just put the resolution aside cause this top is so adorable! I really love pieces when it's so simple yet lovely to look it. It's another of my online goodies! 

3) BabyDoll Dress 

I always wanted to get a Babydoll dress cause it's just so pretty and I'm so happy that I stumbled upon this website to get this dress, it's just so adorable and can absolutely pair with anything! Yippie, just hope the delivery won't take long! 

4) Vintage Boots 

Yay! Boots for real this time, I adore the vintage style and fashion so much. When I saw this boots online I'm like, I'm going to get it for real. I preferred online shopping for shoes rather than real life cause it's just so weird trying on shoe in public but yay another cons of buying shoes online will be when it don't fit my feet!! Hopefully it won't turn out to be disastrous. 

5) Cotton Light Blue Pullover 

The material is ultra comfortable and I think it'll keep me warm during my cold lectures which is gonna start soon, really adorable this pullover so much. Recently, I also find myself drawn to pullover for no specific reasons.

Christmas Wishlist

All this look so adorable right, absolutely make me go " aww " . This nightwear is in my Wishlist, I can totally imagine myself wearing it and go to sleep it'll be so comfortable and I'll absolutely went to sleep cute and woke up cuter~ it kind of bring me back to my childhood where we wore one piece pajamas to sleep, it comes in so many varieties and design! I really want to get something like that as my Christmas present and I'll wear it everyday to sleep! 

My favorite will be this unicorn one, furthermore it have this cute mini angels wing at the back. I love the cute unicorn design at the front, it's so adorable and the color is very smoothing and I can absolutely imagine wearing it ~ it'll be so soft and cute. 

Boots, Boots and Boots. It's in my list too, it's something that I always want to get but can't bring myself to actually get it cause I'm afraid I won't use it very often and ended up wasting money on if. But the color is so attractive and everything about boots is so cool and pretty, so I have come to a decision that I'll most likely get it for Christmas. 

If it's a year ago, I'll be like just give me an iPhone! Currently I'm using an iPhone 5 and have being a loyal iPhone user for as long as I can remember but my iPhone is quite faulty and I have decided to try samsung note 3 for a change, hopefully it'll turned out great cause it's like so different from iPhone and all. But new gadgets is so expensive, it cost around $1000+ for a Samsung phone. 

Another Christmas wish will be doing my own Christmas nails, I'm never good in doing nail art so I decided to challenge myself to try those Christmas design for this Christmas and hopefully it'll turn out okay! (: I love all festive nails, they're all so cute. 

 

Lastly, it'll be a Christmas sweater. Who won't want a cozy, oversized sweater for Christmas to snuggle up with hot chocolate drinks in hand and watch drama at the same time, it'll absolutely be a good investment.

Camp like a camo style

Whenever I thought about camping, it always got me so fuzzy and excited about all the road trips, campfire and marshmallows! Another things that can't be neglected will be the outfit, it's like fashion is everywhere everyday people are wearing them. So for this particular post, I'm going to talk about Camo Style! 

Camo kind of outfit always radiate out the cool and chic look along with the fighter spirit! I love how all the brown and green colors actually blend well together, it's always soft and gentle for the eyes to look at! Plus it's oversized which means it can be pair up with almost everything. 

Boots, Boots and Boots! It's definitely so cool and great for camping, it won't get dirty easily and it's lace all the way up which is great for protection plus it's so stylish like I'm going camping looking all stylish! 

This bag is so cute, it's big with lots of space which means clothes, food and everything can be pack in it! Totally a plus point, this shades of the green isn't too dark which means it'll contrast with the outfit to make it stand out! 

Hair bows, it's so cute! A little accessories on the head won't kill, it will soften the overall tough look to give it a girly yet chic kind of finish which made the whole outfit look very adorable.
