Uneven Tanned

Finally a day when the sun isn't so hot and the weather feels just right after the rain! Went Malaysia for 3 days 2 night of stay during the holiday~ good to be back to reconnect with friends and just have some peace while I'm there. Wearing the grey crop top, denim jeans and sneaker for the day. Very easy going look~ 

I also added the cardigan to the whole outfit cause it was a little cold after the rain. Anyway, let's talk about uneven tanned. I used to love self tanning under the sun and just soak in all the vitamins but what I didn't know is that tanning requires skill. So I just basically go to the beach and tanned thinking that well it will be even but what I didn't know was that, it resulted in uneven tanned skin. 

It gets a little bit weird especially after I stop tanning cause the stomach part of my body tend to be hide by the shirt so it's exceptionally whiter whereas my shoulder is a bit more tanned. Now I'm trying to get it even by wearing clothes that cover almost all part of my body. 

I like tanning a lot too but tanned skin doesn't suit me well, I'm absolutely envious of those people with golden tanned which is super sporty like! 

Tips for getting your natural skin color back: Try to wear sunblock more often, exfoliate the skins twice a week and drink water. If all that still doesn't work, do consult a Determologist~!

City Lights+ Sun Protection

Burning under the city light, went shopping at Orchard Road the other day! Miss my daisy skirt so much that I am wearing it again, a simple Lacey crop top with daisy skirt for the day. Perfect for the night time cause there's no sunlight so I can just wear skirt without worrying about sunblock and protection against the sun! 

I'm really into anti-aging during this year and I realize sun is one big aspect that causes aging so I'll try to not go out without sunblock or any sun protection! So night time is absolutely my favorite time of the day~ But I tend to go out during the day too so it's important to have a good rountine. 

Since I'm at this topic, so how do I do my sun protection rountine? 

For Face: 

1) I'll apply sunscreen, BB-Cream with SPF and ensure that it covers my whole face and neck! I'll tend to chose BB cream with high SPF and as for sunscreen, I'll try to reapply every few hours to ensure full coverage and protection! 

For Body: 

1) Sunblock, Sunblock and more Sunblock. Sunblock is very important, I use SPF 50 on my body on areas that are not cover by clothing. 

2) Try to wearing protective clothing, like jeans or long shirt which sometimes is not possible so sunblock does goes a long way in ensuring full protection! 

3) Some people like to carry umbrella or wear big hats? But that's not my style, so I don't actually do that but it's good for sun protection too! 

Lastly, certain amount of sun exposure is actually good for health! This kind of prevention is just for my own personal perferences (: and thank you for reading! Do let me know if you have any other tips for sun protection? 

Get your hands dirty

Like I promised, I'm back with an outfit post! The weather was super hot recently so I lean more towards long sleeves shirt and jeans to prevent sun exposure. But yesterday there's a need for denim shorts so I'm leave with no choice, I really dislike wearing shorts for super sunny weather cause it'll result in uneven tanned. 

Like 3/4 of my body will be tanned but the 1/4 will look awkward and out of place. 

I pair this outfit with another apparels the other day, the skirt. It created an entirely different look which makes matching apparels an important aspect to look into! I think this white top will be the best apparel that I ever invested in cause it can be easily match with other clothing. 

Found one of this cute little things while I was shopping, it's like fluffy soft toy that I can make by myself! Part of DIY, which is related to my title " Get my hands dirty" . I'll be trying to make this cause it's just so adorable and I can chose the design I want to make. 

I'll either be googling on how to do this or take up classes which cost SGD 20 per class. If I know how to do this, I'll make a "How to do" blogpost about this so you guys don't have to spend money to learn it! I'm aiming to do a little panda, cat or hamster during the DIY! Do stay tuned (:

What? Weird Beauty Tools?

There are many different types of beauty tools all around the world which I discovered while I was googling the other day and found lots of "rare" which can also be known as " weird" beauty tools. 

This is a set of clips for nose to help the nose to seems smaller and allows the user to have higher nose bridge, kind of like creating the 3D effects. It was suppose to be clip on daily for about 20 minutes. But I totally cannot imagine clipping something on my nose, it's like how am I suppose to breath during the 20 minutes? And I find that these pairs of nose clips look like the clips my mom use to hang clothes with. 

V-Shape face roller, it'll suppose to help make the face smaller and appear like "V".  Personally, I think even if this roller doesn't work it's worth it cause it's just like massaging the face for fun but it's just a bit weird that a roller is suppose to make the face smaller? It kind of just doesn't make sense to me. 

I save this for the last cause it's the weirdest, this is like a headband for the whole head in which the person are suppose to sleep with it. Even without trying it, I am sure it'll be uncomfortable. It's like how can anyone sleep with such a tight band around the face, it just doesn't make sense to me even if the whole purpose is to look good. 

In total, I am not saying that all this beauty tools are not useful but I just find it a bit weird but maybe it's useful? I don't know about it cause I have never try this before but it's really amazing to know there are lots of weird tools around the world just to serve the beauty purposes. Guess people will literally go for any extent to look good. 

Dempsey Hill : Dome Cafe

Dempsey Hill. Another lovely place in Singapore that's a must to visit, there are so many cafés, restaurent and shops to chose from for lunch/ dinner. It's actually hard to find by bus or mrt so I took a cab there, if you take from commonwealth area it'll cost around $8 for cab which is quite reasonable. 

At first, we wanted to visit the P.S Cafe but when we reach there we can't seem to find the cafe. So we ended up in Dome Cafe, the food there usually range around $12-$18 fairly reasonable.

The environment look really vintage and nice, a very nice place to go with friends or for date. 

That's the seafood spaghetti I ordered.

It's super yummy, there are: prawn, squid, clams inside. The best thing about this dish will be the prawn, it tasted so fresh and delicious not like the usual prawn that I eat outside. It even taste much better than Batam Prawn. 

There are gonna have exam coming up in 2 days time, that explained the lack of outfit posts on my blog and Instagram. Will absolutely update more after my exams and I'll review about a new hair curler that I have gotta, can you guys guess which hair curler brand is that?

I'm so excited when SampleStore requested me to do a review for them about this product cause it's a really cool cleanse that comes in crystal form and then you add water and it becomes foam! Like it's so cool and exciting, which is unique compared to all the other cleanser. 

The collagen cleanse is a facial cleanser that helps to deeply cleanse and unclogs pores so it's perfect after a long day to ensure that make up and other stuff on your face really gets remove off. (: 

That's how it looks like when I pour it out of the bottle, it's like tiny foaming custal that contains nano-collagen that aids in moisturizing skins, regenerate collagen and prevents aging leaving the skin clean, balanced and feeling revitalized! 

The density is super light and the foam smells great, it doesn't give you the suffocating feeling when you cleanse your face and it feels gentle and good overall! But I'm super lousy when it comes to making foam so I ended up with mild little tiny foams instead! 

It leaves my skin feeling smooth and silky, it definetely moisturize my face and unlike other products I tried it don't give the overly dried feeling and it feels just right!

Beauty : Biore Review

Hi guys! Today I'll be reviewing about Biore Uru Uru 2 in 1 Instant Foam Wash like the product name suggested it helps to remove make up and cleanse the face at the same time, double bonus and save time which is perfect for everyone! 

Since it stated that it can remove make up and cleanse, I shall give a try! Below will be talking about the make up I used. 

Make up that's currently on my face:

The Biore foam wash texture come out super foamy and creamy like and it smell good! 

Cleansing and removing the make up from my face, I still can't believe it works two way like it help me save the cost of getting make up remover and save time of getting the cotton out and everything! This is just perfection, the foam feel creamy on my face and it's pretty mild which is good! 

The cleansing step is completed and it remove all of my make up which includes my eye make up too which is amazing cause make up remover is the most tricky ones to remove.

It's a gel like texture pretty light and feels like jelly, I kind of tested it on my hand first to make sure it won't cause any weird effect on my face. - I'm pretty skeptical! 

After cleansing my face with my favorite green tea cleanser, I applied it directly to my face by massaging it the effect is super cooling and after it dry off it's super smooth and I don't feel like there's a layer of product there which is good, you know how certain product after you applied it you feel like there's still something on your face after 30 minutes but luckily this product don't and it's pretty good for the upcoming spring and summer when the weather is going to be super hot and humid!

I have been using the product for 7 days already and I must stress that the gel like texture really help improve my skin overall and keep it moisturize cause it's super light and my skin condition improved all my forehead pimples minimize size and are calming down though it didn't state it'll help in acne condition but it actually helps so I decided to write about it.

I adored the indie style and the bohemian feel so much it's like so relax and every outfits is so unique and just one of a kind. So I found this feathery knitted pullover lying around in my closet and decided to make a whole different outfit out of it. It's super comfortable and it's in white the best color to style! 

My tights look kind of huge due to squatting that's kind of my favorite exercise cause it's simple and give you perky butt. -awkward- and yes I do gym 5-6 times a week though I don't look like those type that do this stuff. It's my favorite thing to do during the day, gyming. It consists of jogging for 20minutes, 50 squats with 9kg weights and abs exercise on the mat and chest press! 

Back to the topic, 

I think I might need to go shopping for more outfits like this cause it's so unique and I never thought I'll make outfits like this! I kind of went and collected my race pack (marathon) yesterday and I'm kind of disappointed by what it has got inside. It only contained a tank top, booklet, tiger balm rub , race bibs and that's that can you imagine queuing up for over an hour for that? I totally didn't sign up for this. 

I gotta admit the race shirt is pretty eye catching cause of the color and everything but the race pack is just such a sigh.
